HarrwGiving

Our Story

Built by Harrow, for Harrow

From a local support body to a community lottery funding good causes across the borough — this is how Harrow Giving came to be.

Harrow Giving grew out of a simple belief: that local people and local organisations know best how to support their own community. Our parent charity, Harrow Together, began life as Harrow Community Action — an organisation dedicated to championing and strengthening the borough's voluntary and community sector.

Over the years, that mission deepened. As demand for local services grew and funding became harder to secure, we recognised the need for a sustainable, independent source of income that could be reinvested directly into the community. Harrow Giving was created as our giving and grant-making arm to do exactly that.

The Harrow Giving Lottery is the natural next step. It gives residents and supporters a fun, affordable way to back their community — with the chance to win prizes — while raising reliable funds for the local charities and voluntary groups that make Harrow such a special place to live.
